After some searching finally everything fell into place when we met this wonderful little lady and her lovely breeder. She is bred from healthy, lovely looking boxers, who have the characteristics, that for us, make a true boxer. We had the opportunity to see some of Elsas close relatives and we really liked what we saw, not to mention that her father was ten years old when she was born and her grand mother on her mothers side eight years old - both bouncing around as if they were youngsters :-). Her grand dad, Jinnybrux Jon Ross celebrated his 13th birthday in July 2008.

In general boxers from Thatledome have good heads with good raise of scull, filled out muzzles and really good masks, wonderful bone structures on soundly built bodies. And most important of all - such lovely, balanced temperaments.

We have high hopes for Elsa in the show ring, on working trials and on the obedience pitch and hopefully as a mother for FunFlash in the future. But mainly she is a so very loved and so very welcomed as a new member of the family of Ewa and Andrew in West London. We are so thankful to Lyn and Mike for letting us having this wonderful girl!

Some results:

Judge Sue Drinkwater, Swedish Boxer Club, 15th of July-08:
2nd in Class with Excellent.

Swedish KC, International Championship Show, Norrköping. CK (Excellent) and 4th in the Best Bitch class. Judge: Thord Byström, Sweden.

City of Birmingham Championship Show, Puppy Stakes, September-07 she was 2nd out of 70 puppies. Judge: Denys J Simpson.

89 points of 100 on Beginners Obedience, Warlingham DTC, June 2009. (Lost 4 to laying down at the Sit Stay :-(. Very warm weather though).

In May-08 she did the young dogs temperaments test in Sweden with great results. Please see further down.

In the summer of 2008 we started training IPO/Schutzhund.

For more pictures of Elsa, please have a look at the Photo Album and further down on this page.

Puppies out of Elsa are planned for spring/summer 2010. If you are interested in a boxer puppy that you want to train, love and develop with, please let me know your interest.

Elsas' MH-diagram:

Describer: Ms Åsa Danielsson, Roslagens BK
Test leader: Ms Ulrika Edgren

This is Elsas young temperament test (MH) diagram that amongst other things shows that she has a greater hunt interest and curiosity as well as less fears than the mean score for boxers in Sweden. She also showed that she was steady to gun shot.

I am very pleased with her results and it shows that she has got all parts you would want from a working breed. She reacts lovely on everything presented and she gets over any fears with curiosity and bravery.

I think the description of her is very much how I know her. Which was lovely to see especially since we had just arrived from England in a car on a trip that was 1200 miles long.
